Welcome to ReliaPoll! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal contract between you and ReliaPoll Data Analytics & Insights, Co. ("ReliaPoll," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, mobile app, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We updated these Terms on September 23, 2026, and the changes take effect on October 23, 2026. Until then, the version dated June 3, 2026 applies. The main changes: ReliaPoll is available only to U.S. residents, Section 3 (ReliaCoin Rewards) now covers redemptions and changes to the rewards program in more detail, and these Terms now name the company you are contracting with.
Our goal is to be straightforward and fair. We've written these Terms in plain language so you know exactly what to expect from us and what we expect from you.
1. Eligibility & Registration
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use ReliaPoll. By signing up, you represent that you are of legal age.
- U.S. Residents Only: The Services are available only to individuals who reside in the United States. By signing up, you represent that you reside in the United States.
- Minimum Demographics: To participate in surveys and receive ReliaCoin rewards, you must provide your age, gender, and location. This information is required to ensure our survey data is statistically meaningful and representative. Additional demographic information may be requested from time to time but is optional.
- Accuracy: You agree to provide true, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.
- One Account Rule: You may only maintain one (1) account. Users found operating multiple accounts will have all accounts terminated and any accrued ReliaCoin rewards forfeited.
2. Account Security & Termination
- Guard Your Credentials: You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your password confidential and do not share your account with others.
- Unauthorized Access: Notify us immediately at support@reliapoll.net if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Our Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business. Where practical and not prohibited by law, we will notify you of the reason for termination.
- Appeals Process (Non-Fraud Violations Only): If your account is terminated for a reason other than fraud or deliberate deception, you may submit an appeal within fourteen (14) days of receiving notice by emailing support@reliapoll.net with the subject line "Account Appeal." We will review appeals in good faith and respond within 10 business days. Accounts terminated for fraudulent conduct — including operating multiple accounts, using bots, or providing false survey responses — are not eligible for appeal.
3. ReliaCoin Rewards
- What ReliaCoins Are: ReliaCoins are virtual reward points, not currency. They have no cash value until redeemed and do not constitute your personal property. They represent a limited, non-transferable license to redeem available rewards through the Services. ReliaCoins cannot be purchased, and they cannot be sold, transferred, or combined with another user's account.
- Earning ReliaCoins: ReliaCoins are earned by completing surveys and other qualifying activities on the Services, as described in the app.
- Redemption: When redemption is available, you may redeem ReliaCoins for rewards, which may include cash payments, through our third-party payment and payout providers at the conversion rate displayed in the app. The redemption methods, any minimum redemption amount, and any fees will be shown in the app before you confirm a redemption. ReliaPoll does not store your full bank account or card numbers.
- Payout Accounts: To receive a cash payment, you may need an eligible account in your own name with our payout provider, and you must accept that provider's terms. You are responsible for making sure the payout details on your ReliaPoll account are correct. If a payment cannot be delivered or is not claimed within the provider's claim period, we will restore the ReliaCoins used for that redemption.
- Processing and Review: Redemptions may be processed in batches and may take several business days. We may hold, delay, or cancel a redemption to verify your identity or to investigate suspected fraud or a violation of these Terms. If we cancel a redemption for any reason other than a violation of these Terms, we will restore the ReliaCoins used.
- Taxes: Rewards may be taxable, and you are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive. If required by law, we may ask for your taxpayer identification number and other tax information before processing further redemptions, and we will report payments to tax authorities as required.
- Rate Changes: We reserve the right to modify the ReliaCoin conversion rate or reward catalog. We will provide you with at least seven (7) days' advance notice of any such changes via the app or email, so you may redeem ReliaCoins under the current terms before any change takes effect.
- Program Changes: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the ReliaCoin program or any part of it, including how ReliaCoins are earned, their conversion rate, the rewards and redemption options available, and ReliaCoin balances. We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice via the app or email before any change that reduces the value of ReliaCoins you have already earned, unless a shorter period is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Forfeiture: If your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months, or is terminated for violating these Terms, all accrued ReliaCoins will be permanently forfeited. For terminations subject to the appeals process in Section 2, ReliaCoins will not be forfeited until the appeals window has closed or an appeal has been resolved, whichever is later.
4. Prohibited Conduct
To protect the integrity of our platform and the interests of all users, you agree not to:
- Use any automated system — including bots, spiders, scripts, or other automated tools — to access the Services, complete surveys, or collect ReliaCoins.
- Provide false, misleading, or inconsistent information in surveys, including using a VPN, proxy, or location-spoofing tool to misrepresent your location or identity.
- Share your account or allow any other person or entity to complete surveys on your behalf.
- Engage in systematic, patterned, or coordinated response behavior designed to game the ReliaCoin reward system or manipulate survey results.
- Use the Services to gather competitive intelligence, conduct market research for commercial purposes, or collect information about ReliaPoll's systems, methodology, or proprietary features on behalf of any third party.
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or aggregate any survey data, results, user data, or other content from the Services by any means, automated or manual.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying methodology of the Services.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to ReliaPoll's software, servers, infrastructure, or data.
- Engage in any behavior that is fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or illegal under applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including but not limited to logos, text, software, survey designs, methodologies, algorithms, data structures, and proprietary polling concepts — are the exclusive property of ReliaPoll or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial purposes only. This license does not include any right to:
- Use the Services or any content derived from them for commercial purposes or on behalf of any third party.
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any part of the Services.
- Use any insights, data patterns, or information gained through your use of the Services to develop, improve, or inform any competing product or service.
- Use ReliaPoll's name, logo, trademarks, or branding without our prior written consent.
Any unauthorized use of the Services or our intellectual property may result in immediate account termination and may expose you to legal liability.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ReliaPoll expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReliaPoll shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from (i) your use of the services; (ii) any errors or interruptions in the services; or (iii) unauthorized access to your account or data.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ReliaPoll and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your infringement of any third-party rights; or (c) your use of the Services in a manner not authorized by these Terms. This indemnification obligation does not apply to claims arising from ReliaPoll's own negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Dispute Resolution
Mandatory Arbitration
We believe disputes are best resolved quickly, fairly, and without unnecessary cost to either party. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services where the relief claimed is $50,000 or less must first be submitted to mandatory, non-binding arbitration administered through the Oregon circuit court system under Oregon's court-annexed arbitration program (ORS Chapter 36).
Once a claim is filed, the court will provide a list of approved arbitrators. Both parties may mutually select an arbitrator or strike names from the list until one is chosen. Arbitration hearings are less formal than court proceedings and are designed to be efficient and accessible for both parties.
Because this arbitration is non-binding, either party retains the right to appeal the arbitration award and request a trial de novo (a new trial before a judge or jury) within 20 days of the award being issued.
For disputes where the relief claimed exceeds $50,000, claims shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Oregon, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND RELIAPOLL AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS PART OF A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. This waiver applies regardless of whether the dispute is resolved through arbitration or court proceedings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration under Section 9 shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes — meaning changes that meaningfully affect your rights or obligations — we will notify you via the app and by email at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. The updated Terms will always be available within the app and on our website, with the effective date clearly noted.
Your continued use of the Services after the notice period means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you should stop using the Services before they take effect. We will never retroactively apply material changes to disputes that arose before the effective date.
